Our story

Meet your hosts.
brian & amanda Perkins.

We are the Perkins family. Married since 2017 and parents to three kiddos - Gabbie (11), Lola (10) and Jackson (2) - we live & work in the wonderful city of Cincinnati, Ohio. In our free-time, we enjoy camping on the Ohio River, visiting local restaurants & breweries, trying new recipes, loving on our kiddos & planning our next travel adventures. 

We absolutely love traveling and have stayed in many short-term rental properties over years. We love the personal touches and attention to detail that these homes offer and knew we eventually wanted to start our own short-term rental business. We decided to take the plunge in late 2021 and bought our first property, Huckle-Beary Hideaway, in one of our favorite cities - Gatlinburg, TN. A few months later, we expanded to the beautiful beaches of North Myrtle Beach, SC with the purchase of Hightide Hideaway. 

We have put our blood, sweat & tears into making our properties clean, comfortable, modern spaces where families can make memories that last a lifetime! We believe that life is about the memories you make with the people you love & do everything we can to make your vacation one to remember for a lifetime.
